In fact, last night, in an attempt to begin my education in these
matters, I did go on line and accessed a series of primers on writing
links, etc. I think the mud is beginning to clear a bit, and I
really am appreciative of all the time you folks have taken to
attempt to get me on the right path. I never fail to be amazed at the
user-friend-liness (sp) of this forum.
Many Thanks,
Dean

I've used the HTML for Dummies book and got a lot of great

Another suggestion to Dean -- learn to write the HTML code and do a
web-search for on-line tutorial web-sites and other tools
concerning web-sites so that you are in control of your web-site,
rather than than relying on some web-site creation software.
Just as writing a symphony isn't as easy as buying Finale and then
entering notes, so, too, creating a web-site (even if it's only one
page) isn't as easy as telling Comcast to give you a web-page and
then clicking on various things to get it to work.
Learning HTML isn't very difficult, but as with anything it takes
time to read up on it and practice with it to get the results you
want.

Have you ever heard of an eleven or thirteen step program?
