You also use Mass Mover, select the measures in question, and choose
Clear Items ...

Using the Selection Tool (the arrow at the left of the toolbar), click
on the item you want to delete and hit the Delete key. Or right-click on
the item and choose Delete. Or you can do either of these using the
Expression Tool for expressions and the Smartshape Tool for hairpins.
