You can put them wherever you want -- above is more common.
But it looks like you attached the tr as an articulation (on the
bottom, for some reason) and then used the Trill Extension Tool. What
Lawrence and I suggested was using the Trill Tool -- in the
SmartShape palette, it looks like a 'tr' -- which incorporates the tr
and the squiggle. Put the cursor over the staff, double-click, and drag.
