It's one of the Smart Shapes. Enter your starting note and your ending note and the use the smart shape tool and select the squiggly diagonal line, if you just want the line.

If you want the line with the word Glissando, you need to ctrl-click the bottom button (line with a question mark above it) and in the ensuing dialog you need to scroll down until you see the squiggle line (it's horizontal here) with the word Glissando above it. Highlight it, then click Select (or simply double click on that line) and then click and drag in the music from where you want the line to start up or down to where you want it to end. The line without the word will be fine at any length, but if you want the word Glissando to appear on that custom line, you need to make it long enough.

Once the line is placed it can be edited (moved as is, or starting/ending points moved and slope changed).
