maybe I'm confused as to what the Media Tab is, and where it is. When I open my version of Toast (Titanium 5.2), there are like 4 choices (tabs?) on the top of the window ... one of those being audio, etc. One of them is Copy, with a couple of disc icons .. I assume that 's what you mean by media tabs. That's the one I used, to no avail. I must be missing something ... which is not unusual.

Looks like. I tried both Toast and Handbrake, all with the same results. Dismal failure. As Hiro says, looks like it's simply not compatible. I do, however, thank you for all your help. I would however, love a response, if one is available, on my question on adjusting Bass sounds in Kontakt 2 ... to wit,

I am actually convinced that you could read the disk in Toast, if you used the Media Tab and not tried to copy it directly. This is what the Media Tab in Toast is designed to do - read DVD_VR disks.

There is no way you can make a straight copy of the disk, and make that work in DVD players. But Toast can still burn you a new DVD with the same content.
