I prefer having a domain hosting package that allows infinite forwarders, so when I need a throwaway email, I set up a forwarder. If spam comes in on it, I just kill the forwarder. For what it's worth, in the year since I've been using my own domain email addresses exclusively, I've had absolutely no spam on any of my addresses, with one glaring exception: Someone spams me occasionally on *this* address. It's not enough for me to kill the address, but it's pretty clear that some subscriber to the list (whether a regular one or a spammer) harvested my address, as it is never used anywhere except in posts to this list. -- David W.
