There is actually no reason why you couldn't have TWO Maestro files, one the regular name, the other called JazzFont Default (or whatever the new name is) for two different purposes, containing different variants of the various settings, but both using Maestro font.
I don't do this because I use both types, but I don't know of any reason preventing you from trying this out.
