The question is more difficult to explain then fixing the problem Thanks; Bob Florence FinMac 2007a>> In extending the beam from one group of 32nds to the other group of 32nds, I had to first join the two groups together by going into Speedy Entry, placing the cursor on the first note of the second group (the c) and pressing the forward slash "/" key. Then you can break the resulting "secondary beams" by going into Special Tools and selecting the Beam Breaking Tool, which in my version shows a 16th-8th-16th icon, then click on the box above the c, select Break Only, 16th, 32nd, then OK.
