True.  But I set the message size to 40k, which takes care of this very
nicely.  For the filtering, just in case others can benefit from how I set:

"Remove message attachments that don't have a matching content type."
    multipart/mixed
    multipart/alternative
    text/plain

"Remove message attachments that have a matching filename extension."
    exe
    bat
    cmd
    com
    pif
    scr
    vbs
    cpl

Lastly, I have Mailman2 to automatically convert html post to text.
