I made some tempo settings (to control moving from integer valor to a
triple proportion) using the tempo tool and then added some other tempo
changes using the expression tool. I should probably have done this the
other way around, but now the tempo tool settings seem to have priority
over the expression tool settings. How can I remove all tempo tool
settings?
What, you think an answer about Finale is more germane than endless
discussions about newly discovered Mozart music? ;-)
Use the Mass-Mover tool to select however much of the score you want to
remove the tempo tool settings from, then under Mass Edit menu select
Clear Items... and in the dialog you should uncheck everything except
Tempo Changes. Why that doesn't say 'Temp Tool Data' is beyond me, but
I'm pretty sure that will do what you want.
