I can't -- it doesn't make it out here to the sticks. But I take your point. How about last Saturday's opera? Next Saturday's opera? How many in total are from our own era and how many are being staged from the past?

Compare that to the opera houses in Mozart's time -- how many operas from earlier times were being staged?

The ratio of historical music to contemporary music is hugely in favor of historical music in opera houses and in orchestral concert halls. How does that compare to the programming of Mozart's time?

I don't see why my comment is a Straw Man.

The band world's ratio of programming is practically diametrically opposite to the orchestral world.
