Well, Chuck ... I can aver no information on publishers, but I can
give an ovation to your work. You are a talented dude, and your
daughter is right up there with you. Congrats. I may pour a single
malt and listen again.

To my friends with experience in what, for want of any better term,
I will call "Classical/Contemporary" music:
I have written 7 rather complex arrangements of folk songs for
voice and piano - fairly demanding and well developed, that have
idiomatic jazz things in them (and other things not) - but
everything is written out. I am proud of them and think they might
be useful to singers outside of my usual contacts and am wondering
if anyone has ideas about where (and how) to send them. Are there
publishers that you think might be likely to be interested?
There are some nice recordings of (sung by our daughter, Jessica
and played by Miles Black) in my public folder <homepage.mac.com/
cisraels>, if anyone is sufficiently interested to download AIFF
files.
Thanks in advance to any of you who might find the time to listen
and think about this. I am starting here, because I seem to have
informed friends here.
