Thanks for the help; unfortunately it has not worked. When I copied in the
clip file the first thing I noticed was some expressions were duplicated
(almost one on top of the other); this happened to the forte mark, but no
other marks. Then I noticed additional slurs missing from the file.
Everything worked fine until I tried to insert new slurs - N.B. in a
previous test I found I could copy bars with slurs into later parts of the
file without any adverse effects.

Before I start from scratch again, I wonder if anyone else has any possible
suggestions. If it turns out to be something to do with the composite time
signatures, then I do not want to end up in the same position after redoing
all the work.

Waiting in anticipation,
Michael Lawlor

the file may be corrupt.

check out clip files in the manual. print your
wonky document, export the entire piece (select
all in scroll view) and insert the clip file
before m1 in a brand new file. save the new
file and scroll to m15, 16... voilà. if that
doiesn't work, and the file isn't big,
re-entering might be the only solution, but
others might have some ideas too. also, if that
still doesn't work, do what i suggested in two
runs, mm1-14 and 20ff (insert clip: replace
entries with the right measures selected), then
re-enter the measures in the middle.

hope taht's clear, written too quickly perhaps.
anyways, check out clip files in manual.
