Everyone has had different experiences with Windows machines, but on the
basis of Win98, which was seriously flawed until Win98SE came out (and
MS didn't offer free upgrades), and WinXP, which took two service packs
to solve some serious issues (and the second Service Pack doesn't load
on all installations), I'm going to wait this one out a while, at least
until some "version two" of Vista comes out.
In the meantime, I've move so much over to Linux that Finale is the only
program I need to use which requires Windows.
