and even then, it's only the major metropolitan areas which will have that sort of mega-broadband. There are huge areas of reasonably well-populated areas of the U.S. that don't even have DSL as an option, and absolutely no cable access. I'm sure the same is true in Europe and Japan. But of course not where the computer pundits and major computer and software corporations are.

So the dream of DVD downloading as a means of serving superb audio quality will remain just a pipe-dream for 90% of computer users for many many years to come.
