What are you talking about? I updated a client's Win2K installation last Thursday by going to WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com. > An update is useless for anyone running anything earlier than that. Did you read the web page I cited? It gives instructions for how to fix the problem in Win2K and WinNT. No instructions are given for Win9x, but, well, who cares? No one should be using those versions of Windows any longer, in any event (and probably many never should have been using any of them in the first place -- from Win95 they should have gone to NT). -- David W.
