Are you sure about that? We had to make sure that they were when we made
changes for universal binary on Mac. Are there any libraries in
particular that you find are not cross-platform?

No, I am not sure, particularly related to 2007, but I have never been able to load cross-platform libraries up to version 2006, so I just assumed that it hadn't changed. My test libraries were chord symbol libraries. (I have not been using 2007 because of the bugs so far. When things settle down I will probably shift over.)

I mean, if the chromatic key signature chord symbol bug is unaddressed in 8 years, I wouldn't expect this one to be.

I also was hearing about problems with libraries here on the list in 2007 and assumed this was part of the problem.

I also just created a library in 2k6 mac and loaded into 2k7 Mac with
everything transferring. I took a 2k7 mac chord library and loaded it in
2k7 on windows with no problems as well. One thing that I do know is
that libraries from versions previous to our move to Universal Binary on
mac will not be cross-platform, I don't *think* we ever claimed that
they were.

None of the support guys I spoke to (or by email) were aware of it until I told them. In fact, in the documentation it said that ALL files were completely compatible across Mac and PC platforms.
