ah, yes, aha it's "one of those". then yes definitely ignore my suggestion and go for 1 measure/system.


I think they're close enough that I can get away with the same system breaks in the parts as in the score.

really make them equal if you have the power to do so; sometimes even a small change can cause big changes, depending on how you enter the notes. also, if it is a small chamber ensemble (up to 5 or so), they will likely prefer to play from the score, not the parts, especially if there is "significant" proportional (non-metered) spacing. and if they play from parts, depending again on the music, it can be veeeeeery useful to include all or at least 2 of the other instruments in each part as simultaneous cues.
