Hi Johannes,
I don't use the graphics tool to export. I print to PDF, then I crop
the PDF as needed in graphics application. I've always gotten good
results this way, and EPS has had such problems over the years I
figured dealing with it was more trouble than it's worth. Especially
since PDF was (for my purposes, at least) a perfectly good alternative.
