If I increase the note values of a passage, rebarring the results,
accidentals do not
appear where they should according to the bar-line. It is

through, manually forcing the accidental to reappear (* show/hide

I haven't tested it yet, but I suspect there could be a contrary
problem,
reducing note values and finding too many accidentals; however,
this is
clearly a lesset problem.
Mass Edit Menu>Utilities>Check Accidentals.
Also check ties, just as a precaution.
