Recently folks were discussing where to find ½ ¼ etc. – using alt171 and alt172- or other sources. (alt 0189 or alt 0188)
These are of course in Times Roman (Windows default?)

I have in my Finale Quick reference card 2001 and 2004 several other font
charts Petrucci, Maestro etc.

Can someone please tell me where to find the complete Times Roman character
list?
There are a couple of ways to do this. In Windows, has provided since at least WIN98, a "Character Map" utility, which displays the entire contents of a character set. But there is a way to access a complete character map set from within Finale itself. From any point using the text dialog box which allows for "inserts", one of the options on the drop down menu is "symbol". If Times Roman as the selected font, selecting "insert" and "symbol" pulls up a character map. You can see what the contents are of any character set by selecting the desired font.
