Mine is WA Mozart. But that doesn't mean I can't understand and appreciate the beauty and complexity of all kinds of later music. You entire rejection of Cage looks just as Philistine as your comments about Jackson Pollock. It's one thing to say "it's not my taste" and entirely another to say "it's bad art." I can appreciate the true art in a work without needing to love it myself. That you can't separate personal taste from esthetic judgments suggests that you are not really expending any thought on the latter. Thus, we can all safely disregard your declarations on modern music and modern art as the ravings of the ignorant (willful or not). -- David W.
