? You can easily correct that in the Edit Lyrics window.
When adding a missing syllable, with or without a hyphen, you click
(type into score) the preceeding syllable, advance to the missing
syllable (with the space nbar of the hyphen key), type it in and advance
again to check the connection with the syllable following it. That
should keep the hyphenation intact.
I do this all the time...
