TG Tools has the 'Easy Harmonics' plug-in, which will take normally-notated fourths or thirds and replace the upper one with a diamond notehead and also make playback work correctly.
If doing it manually, use the Note Shape tool in the Special Tools palette. In the Maestro font, the character you need is no. 79. Playback, no idea.
