You're absolutely right -- I didn't read what you proposed carefully. Reporting the spam to your ISP's spam-reporting address *will* improve their spam filtering, and you should always do it if they have it. My ISPs just use SpamAssassin, and I have a client-side SA proxy that I have fine-tuned for my own specific purposes. Spam hardly ever lands in my inbox. In terms of numbers, I used to get 100 a day, now I'd be surprised if I'm getting 30. -- David W.
