Well said. I think many of us feel that way, and I'm surprised that Makemusic hasn't taken more notice.
What gets particularly galling is that, as many people have noticed, they've essentially switched to a yearly subscription model, since they stop supporting previous versions once the new one comes out. So the only way to get bug fixes after a year is to keep upgrading.
Except that now they're violating that very same arrangement! Now we get to the pay the upgrade price, but we *don't* get the bug fixes we expect. This is just wrong.
