Hiro--

You should be able to run a Kontakt Player 2 installer (ours or someone
else's--KP2 is installed to a global location on mac), and then put any
files like GPOINSTRUMENT.txt into the FinaleAU folder. Hopefully
whoever's KP installer you run will also be smart enough to update the
proper prefs (ours is) on the system so that Finale finds it.

I think there is an installer issue that we need to tackle, though. I
suspect the installer is reading the boot drive size instead of reading
the destination drive size. Please send that in to support.

Thanks!

| Yes, I went that far, no go. But the problem might be
| different than I thought.
|
| My boot volume has only 1.5GB free, 100MB short for GPO
| install, which shouldn't matter if I am installing samples to
| a dedicated drive.
| However, after I "Select Location" to the dedicated drive,
| which has tons of free space, the [Install] button is
| disabled, and tells me I am 120MB short for 1.6GB install.
| The installer is still trying to install on my boot volume.
| I think this is a bug in the GPO install script.

|
| All the instrument.txt files are gone from Fin2k7/FinaleAU directory.
| This is quite odd. I know they were there a few days ago
| since I was using GPO.
|
| By the way, I never understand how Finale works with NI.
| What does it take to make Finale see Kontakt2 so I don't need
| to install KontaktPlayer? I prefer using Kontakt2. Is it possible?
