I don't know whether it was you who suggested this one to me some time
ago, but I've used it many times since, and am grateful for the
suggestion! For my purposes, it's done the job, although I can see that
there's situations where people expect the full 'text box' functionality
of a word processor. And, for Christ sake, it's 2007 and we should have
it.
Indeed, there's no reason that we can't have the abilty to put text
anywhere in any direction, that we can't have even text boxes with
normal text functions such as tabs, column alignment, etc.
I'm happy that we can align our music to audio tracks -- too bad we
can't make the instructions about what to do with that music or that
audio track as elegantly presented or as easy to work with for the
engraver as the music and audio now is.
