It's interesting that you would say that, because I'm finding the opposite to be true.

With my hands on the Speedy Entry keys in Finale I can think through and try out various ideas quickly, but I find that in Sibelius I am still thinking about the program a lot more than the notes I enter, so I'm still in the stage where I can't be creative yet. I'm hopeful that will come with more familiarity, but I wouldn't say (based on my experience anyway) that Sibelius is more a composer's program and Finale more an engraver's program.

There are plenty of professional copyists using Sibelius and plenty of composers using Finale.
