Hi all: As you know I'm working in 18th century baroque music, and in many instances there will be a single "pizz" marking over the first violins, but nothing indicated in the 2nd violin, viola, or cello.
I use Adobe Jenson pro for my text. The italic in this font is beautiful, but for many editions-- I know the use of italics is indicative of an editorial addition, so whenever I have added a pizzicato marking, I've always put them in brackets (and of course, they're also in italics). Does this seem ok? I'm not making any musical engraving 'faux paus" ( I hope). Thanks much!
