Being a iMac Parallels user, I run my Windows off a Boot Camp partition. Things generally seem to run a lot better that way. I have YET to have a crash running it. I had, for a while, Finale 2006. That worked fine. I currently use it to run Band in a Box 2007 with Garritan Jazz. Works perfectly there.

I briefly tried running Parallels without boot camp, and it was unstable. Internet Explorer worked, but Outlook....not so much. Not that I'd want to run either of those things......

Hi Eric,

If someone wants to boot using Boot Camp, Boot Camp needs to be on the main hard drive, and boot camp
DOES repartition the drive.

I know that Boot Camp repartitions the drive. What I was trying to say
is that unless you are running something like a Windows audio program,
it is usually a better choice to run Parallels or Fusion than to use
Boot Camp.
