depends on the context i guess... i just finished a piece (in this order in the score) for e-guitar, pno, drumset... since the grouping is a litle unconventional -- percussion is way more common in new music -- it seemed to make more sense this way... i guess because of the drumset. now i can tell people it's a jazz composition.
Thanks for the input. The composer seems really attached to vc - pno - perc for some reason. I don't like it, but it turns out he is quite insistent.
