Not sure about that. BUT John Eliot Gardiner is going to perform the Brahms symphonies on period instruments in a series of concerts with the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique called "Brahams and his antecedents," recording manuscripts from Brahms personal music collection, along with the four symphonies and German Requiem.
