In my first experience with Fin2k8, I"m working in a file in which
I've created a list of bookmarks with each individual bookmark
commencing with measure numbering 001, 017, 037, 049, 066, 083, 100
etc, assuming that this would sort from top to bottom 001 - 100. To
my surprise the bookmarks did not automatically sort themselves as I
expected (as in previous versions) and instead seem to be in most
recent addition added at the top of the list and the remainder in the
order of when they were added.
I then went back to Fin2k7 and took a default file and re-entered the
bookmarks with same measure numbering scheme. I entered them in the
following order: 001, 100, 017, 083, 037 etc. On exit from editing
bookmarks, Fin2k7 sorted the bookmarks correctly as expected 001 -
100 from top to bottom. I then returned to Fin2k8 and opened the
Bach.mus sample file. I inserted the measure number as follows: 001,
025, 006, 018 etc. Fin2k8's bookmark's list presented the sequence of
bookmarks as entered from top to bottom without sorting.
is this a Fin2k8 bug or have I missed something? I've checked the
help files but can't find anything about a sort feature in bookmarks.
