The slurs (and ties) thickness is my choice.

That's not the problem. They are no different from mine at high magnification. However, looking at the whole page on my iBook, the slurs look as though they were drawn with a thick pen, ie, no tapering at the ends. This is not the case with PDFs made on the Mac.

So there is still a problem, or shall we say, a difference. I am almost certain the problem is similar to the staff line problem in earlier versions. At least MM has fixed part of the PDF problem. Although in the last few years it has always been the case that when they pixed part of a problem, they never fixed the rest of it. Never. This is one of the big problems I have with MM's bug fixing policy.

Take Grace Note spacing, for instance. They tried to fix the fundamental problems, but completely overlooked the needs of professional engraving. What we have now is not really any better than before, although there are a few more options. I still have to move around the grace notes a lot of the time. Ok, this is not a bug, it is a feature, still it's annoying that resources have been wasted on this without really fixing the problems.
