I currently do all my work on Finale 2003a on my Mac Powerbook G4 (3
1/2 years old) with OS 10.3.9. Would I need to go to a more recent Mac
OS in order to use Fin2008 (or even Fin2009)?

I believe that there are major changes, including kernel changes,
coming
with the new OS. If this is true and if I were MM, I would be putting
all my resources into a Finale release that would be based on the new
OS
and would fix the major bugs we've been talking about recently, thus
killing two birds with one stone.
I'm hopeful this is the case, but I am not expecting it to be so.
