I'm trying to use my ancient copy of Finale (2004a) for shape-note
arrangement. I know how to use the staff properties to set notehead
shapes according to their time value and position in the scale, but I
haven't found any way to make the shapes dependent on the stem
direction. I'm getting tired of going through the music by hand to
reset the shapes on every "fa" with an inverted stem!
Is there a better way to do this in Finale 2004 that I haven't
discovered yet?
Is there a better way to do this in the current version?
