A friend of mine, good muso, great clarinettist, has just obtained Finale Notepad.
I'm pretty sure he's trying to decide whether to eventually get 'full' Finale.-(or maybe Sibelius!) He rang me just now to ask why Notepad wouldn't work in 5/4 time. Now, I have zero knowledge of anything other than basic Finale- 3.1 up to my present steam driven 2001, but surely any commercially produced notation program should work in 5/4- or maybe not!
