Vinny I'm going to archive this for the next time Finale falls silent. I don't need it today, because... well, I remembered how I solved it before: Namely, it just started working again for no reason at all. Now, I do wander around the internet, into youtube and a lot of other things that make noise. It's possible that some of those programs do something automatic that triggers something weird. In any case, I remembered that it had happened more than once before, and I remembered that the same thing happened... it just started working at some point. Next time, I'm going to try the method you suggest. Maybe it will work better than waiting around for another miracle. By the way, I realize that I wrote this to OList, and should have asked Finalelist. duh. But I got a lot of help anyway. Many Olisters are on Finale and vice versa.
