I am having a problem where, when I attempt to scroll through one particular
bar (or use playback that goes through that bar) Finale falls over in a
heap. I have pinned this down to a single bar being aligned on the left (in
scroll view) [i.e. the bar with the number that appears in the measure
number box]. I tried fixing this by entering the music of the offending bar
from scratch (a few bars later), deleted the offending bar, which gets rid
of the problem, but when I paste in the music from the new version, the
problem comes back. Eventually I solved the problem (at least it seems to
be working for the moment) by deleting the offending bar, inserting a new
one and entering the music from scratch.
Is anyone aware of this problem? Is there a "proper" solution? I don't
want to end up entering more music only to find I have postponed the bug
until later, when I shall lose even more.
The only characteristic of the notation in the offending bar is the use of
triplets - nothing strange or unusual.
