Telemann, in his "Fast allgemeines Evengelisch-Musikalisches Lieder-
Buch (Hamburg 1730) lists just the one well-known melody (Stralsund
1665), and this is the only one I've ever seen used in cantatas of
the time. By the way, this large printed collection is a good source
of melodies (with accompaniments!) which were in use in the period
you're working on, and is available in a facsimile from Olms/
Hildesheim (sadly out of print now, but there'll be a library in NYC
that has a copy). There are, on the other hand, several "_Lobet_ den
Herren ...", chorals, 4 of which are listed in Telemann's collection.

I know Christoph Graupner composed at least two cantatas with the
opening chorale using
Lobe den Herren as the text (although I'm not sure which chorale
melody he used).
