I had reported to this list a number of problems that I had with the
Finale update. (Crash-on-quit, HP problems, crash-on-playback etc.)
For some reason, the updater had not installed all of the new files
in the right place and so I wasn't getting the proper update. I have
my Finale app a few folders deep inside the Applications folder and
maybe the installer couldn't deal with that, OR maybe it was just
good old operator error.
I reinstalled everything and I can now report that those issues are
now gone. HP works, it doesn't crash and the program no longer
crashes on quit.
All is not completely bug-free, but the biggest problems are now resolved.
