I use my desktop about 75% of the time -- but more like 95% for Finale. A lot of what I do is transcribing or editing from existing sources, and I need to have my copy holder on my desk with my big monitor, mouse, and full keyboard.
If I'm going to be doing anything in Finale on my laptop more complicated than some layout tweaks, I make sure to bring with me a USB numpad and often a mouse.
