Let me guess; you used the Mac transfer application to set up your
new computer from your old one?
THis happened to me too. You will have to trash your Finale
preferences. Rebuilding them is a bit of a pain, but you will get
all your palettes and windows back.

It makes page layout editing almost impossible as I can't access
