I sent this three days ago but it never appeared in the digest I get, and
with no responses (except one off-list from MakeMusic) I can only assume
nobody has seen this.

I have just printed a score only to find a wayward slur in one bar (not
across bars or over line ends, which I know is also problematic). This slur
has suddenly decided to stretch into the stave above. I tried deleting the
slur and creating a new one, with no luck, it always came back, so I
resigned myself to having to send off the score as it was and hope I can
find a solution for next time. Later on, I went back into the file to try
some other options to correct the error only to find no problem - everything
was fine. Today I am extracting parts, but again find the slur being
"slurish" (poor pun) by mingling with the adjacent stave. At the moment,
the offending slur does not appear to have infiltrated the part.
Is it a known problem? Are there any solutions?
