Certainly a logical place to put the option to change something about
how the program works.
Logical to whom, I'm not sure. But certainly logical to the person who
put the ability to edit multi-measure rests under "Edit" along with the
"Edit Measure Attributes" while leaving all the other stuff one can
"edit" concerning measures under the "Measure" menu. Sort of like
putting the "update layout" in the "utilities" menu instead of the "Page
Layout" menu, where it used to be. There has to be a logic there
somewhere.
In fact, since practically everything in the menus concerns something
one can "edit," I'm not sure why they haven't done away with all the
menus except "File" "Edit" "Window" and "Help." And be done with the
nonsense of us trying to figure out why "update layout" is a utility and
"Edit measure number regions" isn't either an "Edit" or a "Utility" but
is rather a "Document" menu option. Actually, they should do away with
"Edit" and just put everything which doesn't pertain to how the program
works into the "Document" menu.
But as long as someone has found these things in their new locations
before us, we're all set. :-)
