Actually, I had to keep buying new ones since Finale was just keep crashing. I started with Mac 512 then went up to Mac Plus in 6 month. Finale v1.0 speed and its crash rate was a nightmare. No sleep before my big band rehearsals. But I often tried to avoid the same arrangement twice unless shows are too close each other, so Finale was the way to go. I then put Marathon accelerator CPU in my Mac Plus, which made a huge difference as Finale performance go. If I remember correctly, just about Finale v2.6, Mac Plus wasn't OK anymore so I got IIsi with portrait monitor only because of Finale.
