Not looking a gift horse here, mind you...
I'm working on a project in FinMac2k8b. It has some crescendos and
diminuendos that are written out ("cresc." or "dim." as measure
expressions). When I play the file back to "proofread", it's making
crescendos and diminuendos as indicated, even though I didn't add any
playback component to the measure expressions and when I check them
just to be sure, there's nothing there under playback.
Mind you, I'm perfectly happy that Finale is doing crescendos and
diminuendos as I indicated, but I'm baffled and curious as to how it
knows...
