This has also happened to me several times, usually when there's something like 16ths in one staff and triplets in another. As I recall, the only way I have been able to correct this is to slightly increase the size of the measure. Sometimes adding just 1 EVPU will do the trick. I wonder if this bug has been corrected since Fin2004?
