I took the survey. Anything to save the cost of upgrading yet again.

One of the questions asked, "Where do you go for technical support?" One of the possible answers was "the user manual" (snicker), but notably missing was "The Finale Listserve." Don't they know where their power users are?

Another question asked how soon after the announcement of a new version do I upgrade. There wasn't an option for "I buy it right away to save 20%, then don't use it for six months until the bug update comes out (like Finale 2007 and 2008), if at all (shades of FinMac2004)".

I hope this answers some questions for them.
